Winter is coming!

« on: August 22, 2011, 07:11:29 PM »

As Pratchet calls it my in-sure-ants quote for this years buildings and contents came in today.

I literally and involuntary let out a big ' F*CK OFF' the moment I opened it.

It's went up to....£518.40     ohmy

So a few price comparison sites later to arm myself with some base line figures I called them back and got all the usual piss, adverse weather, credit crunch etc.

Told the guy I don;t care about adverse weather as I don;t live on a flood plain and I'm not prepared to subsidise those that do if the insurance company isn't.

Cut a long story short we got to the crunch and added discounts etc and it came down to £314.  Some difference eh ?

But wait...there's more......

I visited Churchill after the phone call and they have quoted me £185   laugh

Man, in-sure-ants guess who I will be renewing with then   nowink

It would be nice if you got a loyalty bonus but instead newcomers get a cheaper premium than an existing customer.

This year was the first year in about 8 when my car renewal premium was cheaper than a new quote.

By about £8 but still the cheaper than any I found elsewhere.

You could have "Let me down easy" because being "Flushed from the bathroom of your heart" is "A wound time can't erase"  but I "Guess things happen that way".

A dog thinks there is nothing better than his own bollocks...hence why he licks them.
