"It has a rugged strong appearance and outstanding protection designs that characterize a beast yet to be tamed."
Oh dear.. It has some really nice technical features though. -edit- I'm removing the FUGLY remark...it's not too bad tbh. (The advertising blurb is still woeful though.. )

It'll do the job, it's one of the few that actually has 3 good fans included so that was what swung it for me compared to others which were similarly priced.
Ordered another 4gb of RAM as well.

You now have the room in that beast to fit a water cool setup I would hope there is better cable management than appears on the pictures for a case that price (although thats just my preference, I need to hide as much cabling as I can)

You now have the room in that beast to fit a water cool setup My thoughts exactly. I bought one that is future proof and will last me a good 4 or 5 years. I'll be going water-cooled if and when the opportunity arises and is appropriate.

Never understood the attraction to water cooling. Anyway I was determined not post in this thread and now I just did. Why, you ask ? Because there's something doesn't feel right about posting in a thread about Condor's box

Could be worse, could be about a new club, or bat, or stick, or rod, or pole, or even penis.* Watercooling seems to be the way everyone is heading nowadays with the big processors being able to be clocked sky high and kept stable under load. *The last option is highly unlikely because I'm happy with what I have.

Nonsense ! The price of water-cooling means you could buy a higher end CPU in the first place with a decent HSF anyway. It's all just PC bling, nothing else....IMO

I won't be doing it unless it's appropriate. There's only so far a fan can go anyway.

Haha, people have been watercooling for years saying the extra same things. I need this, so I can do 'this'... a bit of overclocking is fun, and but you really have to cherry pick components for the best overclocks, and usually they don't come cheap. There are exceptions, I mean, everyone remembers the £70 Barton 2500+ Mobile... or more accurately, the steal of the century. You tend to find you need very specific memory, and luck with a processor (with a nice bin... and people who overclock often and for records I suspect go through multiple processors to find their best one, selling the other on), as well as a decent clocking board with high amounts of customisability.
It's more for the challenge than anything else... building a bespoke water cooled rig has appealed to me... even in fact has a peltier based system but you need a lot of patience and skill. A decent watercooling customer setup, with GPU and CPU cooling, including all the radiators, fittings, reservoirs, water blocks and a pump isn't going to give much change from £200-300.
If you're keen on water cooling something, to get a little more performance I would suspect one of the corsair self contained units would probably do a job. It won't be bespoke, but it has the bonus of being a sealed unit and not £200 without even considering you're going to lose probably two weekends on a) installing it b) testing it for a considerable amount of time before you even put it in the case c) installing it in the case.
I wanted some kind of phase change cooling system for my Barton, and apart from the £400 price tag there was a small consideration of whether or not I wanted 80 degrees temperature difference in my case making some lovely condensation possible. You have to be so careful.
I still use my Lian Li as a case. Fantastic case I bought nearly 8 years ago, and still going strong. It did cost me quite a lot in my summer job back then, but turns out at £15 a year it's not been a crap investment, even when I found out two years later BTX was coming. Then it wasn't heard of again. Only thing I slightly rue about it is I do lose access to a couple of hard drive bays when you put in a stupid sized graphics card. Though, I did install a hot swap caddy bay which actually have alievated most of the problem, although does mean I only can have one optical drive (though, I don't really see the need for two any more... most of the time the only disk that ever goes into this PC is a OS disk)
Nice features on the case there Con... in my younger years I'd have gone for something similar (although... when I bought this one I did buy it under the aging affect that I'd want something less...angry)

Just got delivered, much bigger than I anticipated. At least I'll have room in there to manoeuvre now!
