You will wait a while, 2 to 4 weeks but you will get a genuine cart of whatever variety you go for.

And believe me when I say you do not want a clone, you defo want an original.


1st choice :  Super Card DSTwo   (SCDST)  - Runs GBA games in emu without the need to buy a slot 1 device. Has it's own CPU and can do more than just play roms. Downside is the cPU eats the battery up. 3DS DS mode compatible.

2nd choice : Acekard 2i   - just roms but is 3DS DS mode compatible. Cheap, the best support out there in the form of Ace Kard All In One team (AKAIO) releasing updates every other month or so.

3rd choice : R4i Gold.  Same as above but runs wood firmwares, little bit more arsing about than AKAIO but is well supported.

I have 2 Acekard2i's.


0Shipping will pre flash your firmwares to the latest for 3DS DS mode compatibility and DSi modes. If noit you really need a DS Phat or DSLite to update your Firmwares.

I've never understood the "You don't want a clone" argument.  I brought an R4 card for my nephew a few years back.  Came and couldn't get it to work.  Doing some research I apparently had a clone because was told they don't come in SDHC stamped on them.  But eventually, from the person who sold it who kept claiming there was nothing wrong with it, I got the software for it and it worked fine.

It could be that the forum I asked on were wrong and mine wasn't a clone.

What you were lucky with was the clone manufacturer supported the card with their own FW.

It's rare and few and far between you get a clone that's supported.

Anyhoo 'clone' means cloned Acekard and the other top three these days as ALL R4 cards are clones. If you unwittingly buy a clone and try and put FW's on it written for the actual card its cloning it won;t work and you will be left with a useless peice of shit. Unless the clone manufacturer releases FW, which is rare.
Stick to a reputable dealer like 0shipping and you can't go wrong.

you would probably be as well future proofing whilst in the market.
