Outlook 2007.
Got back to work only to find Outlook won't open as the pst file is not 'recognised'. Located the outlook pst file which is showing as 0Kb.................aaaaaaaaargh!
Tried scanpst.exe, no luck and also a repair Office install, no joy. I always do back ups of pst files, but in this case not for at least a year Sad
Anyone come across this before?
Damned irritating.

Thanks lads, I'll give all those a try.
My other machines create a .BAK file, which should be on the PC in question.

Recuva found and recovered the .pst file, but scanpst.exe wouldn't see it as a pst file.
However Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST repair recovered the file intact, but I would have to pay $130 to save the recovery.
Still looking for an absolutely free prog to do this.
This pst business is quite common, hence the range of fix tools that look to be free until you get to the final hurdle. Windows restore won't help either.
Fuck it!
