The recent nerf of SA-18 Igla and the FIM-92 anti air rocket's damage makes it even more of a pain to shoot choppers out of the sky.

I just hate the f-ing flare's which seem to share the same cooldown with rocket reload ...

Any tips on dealing better with the AA launchers?  I know I can use the AA vehicels/stationary AA but still ...
I try to force a flare burst by keeping the lock on the vehicle and not shooting and sometimes that works but most of the time it's an experienced pilot who goes quickly over a hill top to disengage the lock.
I tried to coordinate shots with mates on TS but that needs some tweaking still ... Most of the times the mate suddenly switches classes or goes anti tank engi so bit of a pain in the ass to coordinate then Wink

How do you guy's tackle it?

It might be worth using the SOFLAM gadget in the recon class for faster lock on it should work well for a good squad that is working as a team.
