I've looked umpteen times and can't find it (they're all Gary Moore...who always sounds like he's putting on a fundraiser for the IRA in Boston.  Teo oirish swanns maaatet fur loife etc.. )

Two swans did happen to meet one fine morning in the land of Eire.


'Well, good mornin, top of the day to ya me fine feathered friend', said one swan to the other. In  reply the other swan said ; ' Begora ! is tat you our Mary? Beggar me and jumpoing sweet Jesus I swear tis a life toime of Riley since oi's did last set eyes upon ye!'.

This conversation continued until the sound of drums and flutes carried over in the wind....


' Ah bless me', said Swan number one; ' now tat there is a sound I has come to love says I'.
' Away and don't ye be shizzlin me Irish sizzle you. Does ye no ken what tat there sound is ye great lump of shoite?', said the Swan called number Two.

'Aye, I indeedy doody ken it and it's a fine tradition so it is to be sure to be sure'. Said Number One.

' Wait a moment' said Two; ' Does you happen to be one of them Proddy swans ?'
'Aye tat I am' said One.
' Well feck joo ya doity Orange fecker, I tot you was a kathlick loike me to be sure'.

Ach, one Moore is much the same as another.
It's the Murphy that's missing.  

Peter Hughes had that album with the two of them playing a gig in Belgium (or some other God forsaken place.........Dundee?)..but anyhoo, don't know what the fuck the score was, but they didn't play it again together and I've never found it on the net.


The Christy Moore version is OK, but not a patch on the other with Eamonn Murrphy.
