It will go ahead and has already been approved by Uruguay and Argentina.
The Arg govt will NEVER give up their claim to the Falklands and will continue to sabre rattle ad infinitum.
They use it as a rabble rouser to stir up the populous.
Made worse of course by oil exploration.

And of course The Daily Fail do love a bit of warmongering.
The chances of Argentina making any sort of pre emptive strike are less than zero, to say the very least.
Mind you, Thatcher thought that at one point...................
