Those storms, particularly in Scotland, look horrendous.
Stay safe people!

London had a battering of rain along with the strong wind, it was a total deluge

If I had been out at the time, I would of been soaked

I had to go outside this morning at 5:30am and shut my cabin window as the pressure must have built up inside and forced the window open. I was fully expecting a glaziers bill, luckily it hadn't smashed.
I then had to go out and pick up all the boxes and paper and plastic and everuy other piece of crap from our blue recycle bin that has spilled its contents and emigrated to mt front lawn and drive.
It was tinkjing too as some it was old cans (not washed properly) and milk cartons.

I was relieved none it had scraped the KIA.

I too had to recover the blue bin contents from my garden.

My greenhouse came out unscathed for once but my neighbours needing about 8 panes replaced.

My roof is gubbed though, water seeping down the chimbley breast and spreading a big yellow pish stain mark across the upstairs bedrooms ceilings.  Sad

The lead flashing might have lifted (along with a few missing tiles), so it might be cheap to fix.

I lost some rendering off the gable end of my last house along with some displaced tiles, but the window cleaner fixed it for a few bawbees (he had a big ladder).  happy

This has probably been one of the hottest days I can remember, ever.
Although our friends in Oz may call me a wimp.
40c real temp, feels like 45c (thermic sensation)
No wind or breeze, humidity bearing down.
It's 9 pm and the temp outside is 34c......inside, I dread to think!
It would be more bearable with aircon, but we don't have it yet due to lack of $$.
But heck, at least we're saving the pennies smile
