It looks like they have only scheduled the upgrade works up until July (areas of Manchester are being told they will be upgraded between April and July), whereas everywhere else I checked is being told July onwards so it still could be July 2013 before it actually happens here. Although I would imagine that the 18 month time line is a worst case scenario estimate and it will be done a lot quicker than that. I really don't care if I get over 50mb on my current modem.....they may give me 100 mb...but I'll happily stay on my current on 50mb before going on that super fuck.
I am now going to put the kiss of death on it, but after the initial problems I had with the Shitty hub its been working ok for the last couple of months. It still cant do everything I was wanting to do with it but its at least staying on now and doesn't need rebooted every other day. |

Well like I sdaid...I think I'd prefer to push what the 300 can get over 50mb as much as take a fuck hub and achieve full 100mb but problematic full and certainly shite wireless.
Does it even do G ? I really need G for the kids 3DS's and stuff.

I think it does A/B/G/N on either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz and I've read that they've eventually brought out the bridge mode firmware...but I'm still reluctant to use the bugger and I'll avoid it if I can. Btw, Cricky got that email too. It told him he was getting an upgrade to 100mbps even though he's on the 10mbps package, so I think that's why they sent out the 'mistake' email the next day. (Some dafty must have just sent a stock email to everyone, regardless of what package they were on  ) |

Well, good news.
The 300 can almost handle the upgrade with a max thoughput of approx 92mb in theory.
I reckon it will take the whole shebang TBH.
They better not try it on with you need to take a fuck hub crap. At least we know we have our 300's and can fight the case.

It's some major styled routing device that's went tits up in Germany. It belongs to VM but as it's a major internet traffic hub there's other UK ISP's affected too as they route through it.

Possibly upgrade in Uddingston area for 30mb packages to 60mb already complete ! Anyone else able to verify this in the area who was on the 30mb Xl package and now getting 60mb ? I just downgraded my package from 50mb to the 30mb due to the latest price increase on the 50mb and the girl on the phone kept referring to it as 60mb package after the upgrade. New speedtests show this   So I have went from 50mb to 60mb and save £9 a month and that is more than enough bandwidth for me so I am not bothered that I wont get the 100mb once the 50 mb upgrades to 100mb |

I'm getting standard download and the faster uploads. It's the increase we have been due for ages. Looking forwards to the new speeds but the upload increase is most welcome in the meanwhile until we get our 12mb uploads   |
