My eldest daughter had her 21st last monday. so I know where you are coming from Sugs. Do you remember when yours was just starting to learn how to walk and talk? About three weeks ago it seems.  Sad

I was talking to a lassie in Gap (shop) the other day about something I hadn't seen in a while, fuck knows what it was, but when I was telling her I hadn't seen anything like it since 1976 (when I was 10) it occurred to me that it was probably 14 years before she was born...

You know..it doesn't seem so bad when you break it up into wee chunks like that.. razz

Yeah, my eldest daughter (17.5) is going away on leavers (that's where all the 17 year olds go away for a week at the end of their school life and get drunk and play up) next week.  I'm so worried and feel so old.   unsure

Yes and.......

Actually I haven't been able to stay awake past 8pm on a week night, by 7.30 I'm falling asleep on the lounge and by 8 my wife and kids are tucking me into bed, then I'm up at 4am to do it all over again....drives me nuts sometimes, especially on a Monday when the South Park is on at 8.30pm, I never make it that far..

i hate old people. Especially at xmas. We (the council) give a gift of £15 to everyone over 60. they still moan. Want two, or refuse to show ID.

OAPs are worse than kids.

Old is relative. Being an RV(caravan) tech, I deal with oldster's all the time. Some of them will run circles around us youngin's. I have a customer who is 85 and competes in ballroom dancing all around the country. His partner is 45 and he has won a few against them youngster's. If only I knew I will be like that at 85. notworthy notworthy

I have so much to look forward to at 60. I must check if our Council does the same. I could retire on a bonus like that. biggrin

I've made a goal to be feisty, fit, & fabulous at forty.  I'm almost there.   smile

I have a decade to think of new "f" words for fifty.  (don't be rude)   :P

I think the older you get the more comfortable you get in your own skin.  I'm looking forward to being older, having things in order, being established, having more money, having more time, and thoroughly enjoying life.  I think Thermal will too.   happy
